Dr. Annabi’s Lab welcomes all research professionals such as undergraduates, graduate students, postdoctoral fellows.

Open Positions:

Postdoctoral Researcher

Two postdoctoral positions are available in our laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles. The candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following areas:

  1. Drug delivery and polymer chemistry (Experience in engineering drug loaded nanoparticles, release study, polymer conjugation and chemistry are desired)
  2. Bioengineering (Experience in hydrogels’ synthesis and characterization, cell culturing, in vitroassays, and in vivotesting of biomaterials)  

Applicants must have obtained a PhD in the chemical and biomolecular engineering, chemistry, biochemistry, bioengineering, biomedical engineering, or polymer science. All applicants must have a strong record of publications, and excellent writing and communication skills. Applicants with relevant research experience on developing different animal models and in vitro testing of hydrogels are highly recommended to apply.

Prospective Ph.D. Students

We are looking for highly motivated and energetic prospective Ph.D. students that are interested in the field of advanced biomaterials and tissue engineering. Candidates with relevant research background are highly recommended to apply,  we also consider students that have excellent laboratory skills but do not have much field experience.
